Subject	Wheel width 18x8

Message	I've already asked a few about this, but was interested in more opinions: What are the drawbacks of running 18x8's all around? I'm only contemplating this setup because it's a rim design that's been discontinued and I'm not going to find an 18x9 anytime soon. I've done a thread search and the only thing I can see is that the back wheels might look a little wimpy and handling might suffer. On the plus side, it might be safer for daily driving and tires can be rotated (presumably 245 all around). Finally, has anyone ever had a wheel rim enlarged?
